Pay: $32-$34 Depending on Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Writing & Application:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
- Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals and applications that align with organizational goals and funder priorities.
- Develop and maintain a grant calendar to track deadlines and reporting requirements.
Grant Management:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with grant requirements and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, financial reports, and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with program staff to collect data and evaluate program outcomes for reporting purposes.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential funders.
- Conduct outreach and follow-up communications with funders to strengthen partnerships and support future funding opportunities.
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events as needed.
Research & Analysis:
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant funding and nonprofit management.
- Prepare internal reports on grant funding status, opportunities, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in grant writing and grant management, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
- Strong understanding of grant-making processes and funding sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, persuasive, and accurate proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and grant management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
