Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of LCL/FCL Import Shipments from A to Z
• Assist customers with the shipment process to include bookings, quotes/rates, tracking/tracing, scheduling pickups, and invoicing
• Enter shipment data into the Company's system
• Provide updates to clients on potential shipment delays in a proactive manner
• Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines, trucking companies, etc.
• Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules and regulations
• Follow customer established SOPs at all times
• Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner

Desired Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Import Operations for Ocean Freight
• FCL and/or LCL Shipping Knowledge
• Computer skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Cargo Wise is a MUST
